I am writing to formally address and unequivocally refute the unsubstantiated accusations recently leveled against me.

My name is Peter Saiful, and I am a non-political individual dedicated to fostering peace and stability. My professional life is committed to advocating for human rights and providing pastoral service. I have never engaged in activities that contradict the principles of any faith group.
It has been brought to my attention that Mr. Mahbub Alam Minar local from Cox's Bazar and Osama Ibrahim Rohingya from camp 1W has alleged my involvement with the International Crisis Group.

I unequivocally deny this baseless accusation. The operational mandates and associations of the International Crisis Group, including any potential dealings with organizations such as the Arakan Army, are entirely independent of my activities or affiliations.

This claim is, to my understanding, a fabrication, reportedly supported by certain individuals within the Rohingya camps. These individuals are themselves allegedly associated with criminal groups and activities, including abduction, kidnapping, and killings linked to Rohingya armed factions.

Furthermore, it is widely recognized that the Arakan Army is a Violent group, comparable to the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA). Their violent actions and illicit affiliations are matters of public record and general knowledge.

These same groups or individuals have a history of targeting my family. Specifically, on December 14, 2024, and January 9, 2025, they issued direct threats and religious decrees (fatwas by Mohammad Adnan Sheikh ) calling for the killing of myself and my brother, Nur Emmanuel.

Such threats have been a recurring issue since 2012 until 2020 until christian are kicked out of the camp from Kutupalong camp. They have even distributed posters featuring our personal photographs and calls for violence throughout the camps.

I emphatically reject all false allegations and urge all concerned human rights Defenders and International Crisis Group to prioritize the pursuit of truth and the upholding of justice in this matter.
